JIM WAGNER'S MILITARY TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
It is said that A picture is worth a thousand words. Therefore, to help you better understand and appreciate Jim Wagner's extensive military career (since you and your child, or children, will need some of the techniques, tactics, and training methods that he knows and teaches) here are just a few photos to help you decide if he is worth the money and time to be your instructor.
SOLDIER AT 18 YEARS OLD
Straight out of high school Jim joined the United States Army. This photo was taken during "war games" at Fort Benning, Georgia when he was in a combat unit.
MILITARY POLICE SOLDIER
In 2006 Jim was again an American soldier, in a Military Police unit. He was also an instructor training troops for the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kosovo.
TRAINING TO "OPEN EYES"
Staff Sergeant Wagner's U.S. Army students drove over a buried pressure plate (the dirt behind the vehicle) wired to an "explosive." They learned from it.
ALWAYS HAVE A BLADE
Jim taught these two soldiers Knife Combat in a confined space using Hollywood stage blood for maximum realism. He taught many Knife Combat courses.
ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE
Sergeant First Class Wagner has his soldiers practicing Active Shooter response formations, which was also training for the two schools on the military base.
PASSIONATE ABOUT SECURITY
As a senior sergeant Jim didn't have to do Main Gate or guard duty, but he did it often to lead from the front, and to mentor his soldiers under his command.
PROTECTING 30,000+ PEOPLE
Sergeant First Class Wagner was often in command of the soldiers protecting the guests coming to the special events on the base.
TRAINING FOREIGN SOLDIERS
Because of his unique training and experience, Jim taught many foreign militaries, like these German Military Police soldiers at one of his tactical courses.
